My bike was stolen. What security rules apply?

Your bicycle must be secured with an approved lock through the frame to an immovable object.

Exceptions apply when your bicycle is stored inside a fully enclosed and securely locked home, garage or outbuilding; is within 5 metres and in your direct line of sight; or is transported during daylight hours inside a securely locked vehicle or ute canopy. Extra conditions apply to bike racks, overnight storage and basement or carpark storage.
