Cookie Policy
Last updated: 1 September 2025
This Cookie Policy explains how Velosure uses cookies and similar technologies (including analytics and advertising pixels) on our website. It should be read with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information in an open and transparent way.
What cookies and pixels are
Cookies are small files stored on your device by your browser. Pixels are tiny snippets of code that can record events such as page views and send limited information (for example, device and browser details) to a service provider. Some cookies are set by Velosure (first-party) and some by our partners (third-party).
How we use them
- Strictly necessary (always on): enable core site functions like security, load balancing and session management.
- Performance/analytics (optional): help us understand how our sites are used so we can improve them.
- Functional (optional): remember preferences (e.g., language).
- Advertising (optional): measure and improve our advertising and show relevant offers; may involve limited sharing of pseudonymous identifiers with our advertising partners.
We provide this information at or before the time of collection to support transparency under APP 5.
Your choices
On your first visit we ask for your cookie preferences. You can Accept all, Reject all, or Manage settings by category. You can change your choices at any time via Cookie settings in our footer. If you reject optional categories, non-essential cookies and pixels will not run. While Australian law does not mandate a specific banner format, providing clear notice and choice supports APP 1 and APP 5 expectations.
Direct marketing opt-out
If we use personal information for direct marketing, you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our messages or by contacting us (see below). We will action your request promptly, as required by APP 7.
Third parties and overseas disclosures
We may use third-party providers such as Google (Analytics/Ads), Meta and LinkedIn. These providers may process information outside Australia. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure recipients handle it in accordance with the APPs (APP 8). See each provider’s privacy information for details.
Retention
Cookie lifetimes vary by purpose and provider. The Cookie settings panel shows the current cookie list (name, provider, purpose and duration). Update this list periodically to reflect your live setup (e.g., GA4 _ga, _ga_* up to 24 months; Meta _fbp up to 3 months).

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our use of cookies or applicable guidance. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version.
